OnCallX was created to simplify the workflow within a large Neurosurgical Practice located in Westchester County, NY. The Founder of the Company, Dr. John M. Abrahams was frustrated with the stagnant phone-operator solutions that were prone to errors and high cost. There was no simple solution to solve a problem of a patient or referring physician contacting the provider on call without going through multiple steps. His organization estimated that 20 physicians were spending over $50,000 per year with countless coverage errors, messaging failures, misinformation, and no simple solution. Dr. Abrahams and his practice implemented OnCallX in their practice and then created a business around it’s success.
